The Open Data Foundation 2007 annual meetings will be held in Washington, DC, USA on Wednesday December 19th. All members who are in the Washington DC area during that time are encouraged to participate in person. Virtual attendence will also be possible through Skype and/or telephone conference call.

This event is made possible with the support of the National Opinion Research Center which has kindly agreed to make their DC office facility available to host the meetings. We are particulalrly thankful to our Director Dr. Julia Lane for her assistance.

Parking is available at various locations in the area. The closest lot is on 19 th Street on the other side of the 1350 Connecticut Avenue building. Note: 19 th Street runs one way the opposite direction of Connecticut. Most garages charge $14 per day.

NORC DC office is adjacent to DUPONT CIRCLE metro station on the RED LINE (South exit)

FROM REAGAN NATIONAL AIRPORT (DCA) (5.5 miles)

METRO: (The easiest from DCA)

YELLOW line towards MT. VERNON SQUARE
Change to the RED line at CHINATOWN/GALLERY PLACE towards Shady Grove or Grosvenor
Exit at Dupont Circle and take the exit to South Dupont Circle

TAXI:
Taxi ride is approximately $25 (including tip) from DCA and takes about 15 minutes depending on time of day and traffic conditions.

SUPER SHUTTLE:
You can call for reservations – 800-BLUE VAN (258-3826) or (202) 296-6662, or visit their website http://www.supershuttle.com. The website requires a credit card deposit, the telephone call does not require a deposit. Cost: $12.00 ($8.00 each additional passenger)

Take the I-395 N exit toward WASHINGTON (crossing into DC) 0.1 miles
Merge onto US-1 N 1.5 miles
Stay STRAIGHT to go onto 14TH ST NW 0.7 miles
Turn LEFT onto US-29 / K ST NW 0.4 miles
At 17 th Streetbear RIGHT into the service lane (you cannot turn right directly from K Street onto Connecticut Ave)
Turn RIGHT onto CONNECTICUT AVE NW 0.5 miles

FROM DULLES AIRPORT (IAD) (26 miles)

Travel into Dupont Circle, go nearly completely around the circle until you come to 19 th street and turn RIGHT. The garage is immediately on your right.

TAXI:
Taxi ride is approximately $65 (including tip) from IAD and takes about 40 to 80 minutes, depending on time of day and traffic conditions.
